On their official Twitter account, acclaimed animation company Studio Ghibli posted a video teasing a collaboration between the Spirited Away creators and Lucasfilm.
Although not many specifics about this new collaboration have been made public, Star Wars has previously been transformed into an anime version. For the Disney+ series Star Wars Visions from a year ago, several anime studios, including Studio Trigger and Science SARU, reimagined the classic brand. Each episode had its own unique plot and visual presentation from the previous one.
Studio Ghibli, on the other hand, is one of the most adored movie production companies in the animation business. Ghibli is the animation studio behind anime classics including Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and Howl’s Moving Castle. Ghibli was founded by Hayao Miyazaki, Toshio Suzuki, and Isao Takahata.
