Kotak Mahindra BHIM UPI
Bank of India BHIM Virtual Payment Addresses (VPAs)/UPI IDs (e.g. custname@Kotak) are unique identifiers that may be used to pay and receive money via UPI. Your bank account information is all that is needed for UPI payments because they are sent directly from your account.
There is no need to go through the trouble of naming a recipient before sending money. A UPI recipient’s phone number or UPI ID can be used to transfer funds to another recipient. Scan the QR codes at the store or merchant’s location to pay your bills.
You can use the BHIM UPI through the mobile app of your Kotak Bank account. Kotak BHIM UPI can be used by non-Kotak customers if they download the BHIM KotakPay mobile app.
How to get started with Kotak BHIM UPI?
- Click on ‘BHIM UPI’ present in ‘My Kotak’ section or ‘Banking’ section
- In the ‘BHIM UPI’ menu, go to ‘Manage VPA’ and click on ‘Create VPA’
- Select the bank account that you want to link with your VPA
- Enter a new VPA in the space provided and check its availability
- Click on ‘Create VPA’ and confirm the details
