The advantages of ESIC include the insured person’s eligibility for additional benefits in times of bodily distress due to illness, etc., in addition to comprehensive medical care for themselves and their dependents. The dependents are entitled to a monthly annuity if the insured individual loses his or her ability to work due to an employment injury, occupational hazard, or even death.

What Are Some Benefits of ESIC

Employer Site: Employers can make timely updates to employee information, keep track of pay contributory information, respond to requests for absenteeism verification, and other tasks using the employer portal.

Compliances can be recorded using a single form, making it easier for individuals filling such forms.

Services for Employees: The following services are offered to employees as part of this category:

IP Portal: The insured person can access the IP portal at http://www.esic.in/employeeportal/login.aspx by entering their insurance number (which also serves as their user name) and viewing information about contributions made on their behalf, as well as determining their eligibility for various benefits, among other things.

Tie-up hospitals: ESI beneficiaries may go to tie-up hospitals or even be referred there for any medical needs, including both emergency and non-emergency care. Since several of its hospitals have been transformed into Covid-19-specific hospitals, ESIC has allowed the insured to access medical services through partnerships with private pharmacies and hospitals.

Scale of medical benefits: The scale of medical benefits informs insured individuals and their families of the rules they must go by in order to get medical benefits.

What is the ESIC Employer Portal Login Process?

Any employer who has more than 10 employees must register with the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation within 15 days. The employer must go to the online employer portal at www.etc.in to accomplish this. After completing his registration, the employer will obtain a 17-digit employer code number and login information for the ESIC portal (login and password).
