When Does T.j Watt Come Back? T.J. Watt’s Return to Steelers Was Delayed Due to Knee surgery!
T.J. Watt’s pectoral injury in Week 1 of the NFL season hurt the Pittsburgh Steelers but saved them.
Watt’s muscle tear alarmed NFL fans. The muscle tore, but the tendon did not. Watt can return this season.
Watt will miss three more games after missing Week 2 against the Patriots. After the injury, Watt was placed on IR and won’t be allowed to return until Week 5, although his timeframe appears longer.
Watt has indicated he would return this year.

How long is T.J. Watt out?
Ian Rapoport said that the Steelers were aiming for a Week 8 return. T.J.Watt needed surgery after injuring a muscle, not a tendon.
Watt had arthroscopic knee surgery before Week 5 and will miss a week or two. That puts him on schedule to return in Week 10—the Steelers have a bye in Week 9—barring any setbacks.
Cameron Heyward told ESPN that Watt’s injury meant “people gotta step up.” “We’re not innovating. We only need to execute our duties, not modify our entire strategy.”
Since Watt’s injury, the Steelers have lost four straight, including a 38-3 Week 5 loss to the Bills. After sacking seven Bengals in their season opener, they have three in four games without Watt.
Pittsburgh must improve before Watt returns.
