After a lengthy wait, Superman & Lois Season 3 will debut in March, followed by Gotham Knights, a new series on The CW.

The CW announced today that Gotham Knights will air at 9/8c on the network on Tuesday, March 14, 2022, following the return of Superman & Lois at 8/7c.

The CW Network’s president of entertainment, Brad Schwartz, issued a statement regarding the new Tuesday lineup.

Tuesdays will be a can’t-miss night of action thanks to the new season of Superman & Lois on The CW and our most thrilling new series, Gotham Knights, according to Schwartz.

Fans will witness the best season of Superman & Lois yet and be exposed to a hunted crew of crime fighters out for vengeance, following in Batman’s footsteps on Gotham Knights, according to Schwartz. “With the classic characters and gritty streets that everyone knows,” he stated.

One Kent family member will have a fresh appearance in the upcoming season of Superman & Lois.

As was previously mentioned, after Jordan Elsass left the show, Jonathan Kent was replaced by Michael Bishop.

Weeks after Superman’s victory over Ally Allston on Superman & Lois, Season 3 begins.

The enemy isn’t mentioned in the narrative, but TV Line’s earlier news about Chad L. Coleman joining Superman & Lois as Bruno Mannheim is a big indication of what’s to come. The Intergang boss will emerge, according to what John Diggle said to John Henry in the Season 2 finale.

In the meantime, Jonathan and Jordan Kent develop in different ways “as Jonathan searches for [a] purpose beyond the football field and Jordan finds what a superhero-identity actually means.” Additionally, John Henry and his daughter Natalie are in danger as a result of the history that haunts him and his twin brother.

In their new chapter after their divorce, Lana and Kyle redefine what a family is, while Sarah “explores what the future holds for her and Jordan now that she knows the truth about his powers.” After discovering last season that nobody else can be trusted to work with Superman, General Samuel Lane finally reclaims his position at the Department of Defense. When Sam is working with his grandson, Jordan, he then runs into another difficulty.

Bishop joins returning actors Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, Sofia Hasmik, Alex Garfin, Tayler Buck, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Erik Valdez, Inde Navarrette, Wol Parks, and Dylan Walsh in Superman & Lois Season 3. Greg Berlanti, Todd Helbing, Sarah Schechter, Brent Fletcher, and Geoff Johns served as executive producers for the television series Superman & Lois, which is based on the DC Comics characters established by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.

Batman’s death sets off The CW’s Gotham Knight, setting off a powder keg in Gotham City. Following the Dark Knight’s death, several of Batman’s other rivals’ offspring, including Duela, Harper Row, and Harper’s brother Cullen, is also implicated in the framing, including Bruce Wayne’s adopted son Turner Hayes.

Duela was “born in Arkham Asylum and was abandoned by her father; she is an unpredictable fighter and adept thief.” Cullen is a “smart transgender youngster who is sick of being polite and agreeable,” whereas Harper is the “streetwise and caustic engineer who can fix anything.”

Harvey Dent, the “charismatic and hard-charging” district attorney who continues to follow the youngsters with the GCPD, joins Gotham Knights as Supernatural‘s Misha Collins. Turner will therefore rely on allies such as his best friend and formidable coder Stephanie Brown and unlikely Batman sidekick Carrie Kelley, according to the article.

Together they discover “there is a greater, more sinister power at work within Gotham City,” according to the plot summary of the episode. To become the Gotham Knights, the city’s next generation of saviors, this group of mismatched fugitives must work together.
