Real Estate

After getting married in 1993, Barr and Arnold started building a massive estate in southeast Iowa, with a total of 28,000 square feet. After the couple’s divorce in 1994, the development of the unfinished mansion ceased. Barr and Arnold gave the 1,338-acre property to the Indian Hills Community College Foundation, which sold it to MJW Hawkeye LLC in 2018 when the Roseanne reboot aired. A representative for the owner argued that demolishing the mansion would be too costly.
For $6.5 million in 2000, she purchased a mansion in Rolling Hills, California. For $8.2 million, she parted with this house in October 2003.
