At the tender age of six, Fishman began his acting career in 1988 after being championed for the role of D.J. Conner by Roseanne Barr, the actress, comedian, writer, TV producer, and creator of the ABC comedy Roseanne.
From 1988 until 1997, when he was 15 years old, Michael played the role. Little Rosey (1990), Hey Arnold (1996) as Joey, Little Bigfoot 2: The Journey Home (1997) as Mike Holliday, and Seinfeld (1997) as Gregg were just a few of the numerous episodes and movies he appeared in over the span of the show.

Personal Life
Fishman tied the knot with his high school girlfriend Jennifer Briner in 1999. After Jennifer, a daycare teacher, was diagnosed with a rare kidney ailment, she and her husband took up the cause of raising public awareness. They were married for almost 20 years, during which time they welcomed two children, a boy, and a girl, before deciding to split up in June of 2017.
Jennifer was Michael’s health insurance plan, so the couple put their divorce proceedings on hold. There had been mutual consent to end the marriage, Michael Fishman claims.
