Anne Celeste Heche was born on May 25th, 1969, in Aurora, Ohio. Anne was raised with her three older siblings, Nathan, Abigail, and Susan, by her parents Nancy and Donald. Sister Cynthia passed away from a heart condition two months before Anne was born.
When she was a child, she and her family moved a total of twelve times. A 2001 interview with Larry King revealed that Heche’s father worked as a choir director, a profession she says she doubts brought in much money that week.
He said he was connected to the oil and gas business in some way. It was his last words before he passed away. But he never worked in petroleum or anything like that.
In the end, the family moved to New Jersey when Anne was 12 years old, and they all stayed in the same room at the house of a church member.
Heche obtained work at a dinner theatre in Swainton to help finance the relocation of her family.
