Professional Career:
East of Wichita in El Dorado, Kansas, Carson played for Butler Community College for two seasons before transferring to Oklahoma State in 2015 and playing two seasons for Mike Gundy’s team.
In his junior year of 2015, against UTSA, he had 17 carries for 104 running yards, two rushing touchdowns, and 517 rushing yards overall. He also had 17 receptions for 170 receiving yards.
He ran for 146 yards and a touchdown on 17 runs on November 19, 2016, vs TCU.
Overall, he had 13 receptions for 128 receiving yards and a touchdown, for a total of 559 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns in 2016.
On September 10, 2017, Carson made his NFL debut against the Green Bay Packers and finished with six rushes for 39 yards and one reception for ten yards in a 17-9 loss.
His role was enhanced in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers with 20 carries for 93 yards. After starting Weeks 3 and 4, Carson replaced Thomas Rawls and Eddie Lacy as the Seahawks’ primary running back.
