In 1971, he appeared alongside John Amos in a McDonald’s advertisement. Love, American Style’s anthology series ‘Love and the Happy Days’ included him as Postie Weber in the episode titled ‘Love and the Happy Days.’
As the series progressed, Anson appeared less frequently, but he was one of the few characters to stick around for the full run.
During several episodes, Richie, Potsie, and Ralph formed a band and played at Arnold’s Drive-In and other locations. The group’s lead singer played an important role.
