Top Gun: Maverick is Playing in Theaters Again for Two Weeks!
Following its immensely successful run in theaters over the summer, Top Gun: Maverick is soaring back onto screens for another show. The Hollywood Reporter reports that Top Gun: Maverick will have a two-week return engagement in theatres starting on December 2, 2022, and lasting through December 15. Overall, 1,850 theatres will screen the movie, which is expected to help it surpass its already impressive box office haul.
The movie is currently in fifth place among all U.S. domestic box office films and is around $70 million behind James Cameron’s Avatar, which is in fourth place. Even though it’s doubtful the movie would gross that much in just two weeks, during its first run, it did fly to an astounding $1.4 billion worldwide.
