Mafia Mamma Trailer: Toni Collette Takes Over a Big Mafia Family!
Bleecker Street has dropped the official trailer for Mafia Mamma, the upcoming crime comedy starring Oscar nominee Toni Collette. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on April 14, 2023.
The woman in the film travels to Rome for her estranged grandfather’s burial, who turns out to be an Italian criminal. There she learns that her grandfather’s final wish was for her to run his criminal business. Her life abruptly changes as a result, and hitmen attempt to kill her on a regular basis.

Catherine Hardwicke is the film’s director, and J. Michael Feldman and Debbie Jhoon wrote the screenplay. After previously collaborating on the 2015 comedy-drama film Miss You Already, Hardwicke and Collette are reuniting for this project.
According to the synopsis, the movie is a humorous, action-packed comedy about a suburban American lady who inherits her grandfather’s Mafia empire and defies everyone’s expectations—including her own—to become the new leader of the family enterprise.

Along with Collette, other actors Giulio Corso, Tommy Rodger, Alfonso Perugini, Sophia Nomvete, Eduardo Scarpetta, Tim Daish, and Francesco Mastroianni will be appearing.
Collette, Amanda Others, and Christopher Simon are the producers of Mafia Mamma. It is produced by New Sparta, IDEA (L), and Vocab Films.
