Warner Bros. Pictures has released the opening scene from the Dwayne Johnson-led superhero film Black Adam, which currently holds a worldwide gross of over $360 million at the box office. It is now available for streaming on all VOD platforms.
The 10-minute trailer previews the genesis narrative of the titular anti-hero, which centers on a brave boy’s quest to free his people from slavery. As a result, the Council of Wizards crowns him as its champion and grants him the Shazam abilities. The video also introduces Sarah Shahi’s Adrianna Tomaz and Bodhi Sabongui’s Amon Tomaz.
Black Adam’s 4K, Blu-ray, and digital release dates and special features have been announced.
White Adam includes Dwayne Johnson‘s debut as Teth-Adam, the film’s titular anti-hero, whose backstory was initially foreshadowed during 2019 shazam!

Pierce Brosnan plays Doctor Fate, Noah Centineo plays Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell plays Cyclone, and Aldis Hodge plays Hawkman. They all appear alongside Johnson. Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, James Cusati-Moyer, Bodhi Sabongui, Mo Amer, and Uli Latukefu are other cast members who have unspecified roles.
