IKEA Furniture Hacks: 8 Best IKEA Furniture Hacks To Try At Home!

On a Saturday, my ideal day consists of getting lost at IKEA for a few hours. At such low costs, it’s virtually impossible to leave the store without picking up some candles, floating shelves, and a new bedroom dresser, all of which find use in my flat. The low prices of IKEA are one of the store’s greatest strengths. Where else can the common folk pick up a TV seat for under a hundred dollars? Even if you’re designing your home on a tight budget, it doesn’t mean you can’t make your IKEA purchases appear like a million bucks. A dining area can be entirely revamped by doing something as simple as spray painting the legs of your IKEA dining chairs gold. Here are some of the greatest ways I’ve found to upgrade the aesthetic of inexpensive IKEA pieces.

1.Tarva Dresser Hack

Sarah Sherman Samuel contributed the first impressive Tarva Dresser hack to our collection. She put her own spin on the IKEA dresser she bought for her baby’s room, and the result is beautiful. She altered the dresser by chopping off the legs at an angle, painting it, and installing new brass knobs. You would never guess that this dresser was purchased at IKEA because of how expensive it appears to be. The comprehensive how-to guide is available for your perusal below.
