Stranger Things Part 1: Casting a Shadow the Spinoff Stage Production Will Premiere in Late 2023!

On Tuesday, Netflix revealed that a stage play spinoff will be coming for one of their phenomenally popular series. Later this year, the play, titled Stranger Things: The First Shadow, is anticipated to have its global premiere at the Phoenix Theatre in Landon’s West End.
According to reports, Stranger Things: The First Shadow is “based in mythology” and will center on Henry Creel, alias Vecna, in 1959, when he and his family first relocated to Hawkins, Indiana.

Hawkins, 1959: a regular town with regular worries. Young Jim Hopper s car won t start, Bob Newby s sister won t take his radio show seriously and Joyce Maldonado just wants to graduate and get the hell out of town. While one of the show’s writers and co-executive producer Kate Trefry will pen the stage play, the renowned Duffer Brothers will serve as the play’s creative producers. The director is Stephen Daldry.

Fans of Stranger Things who want a fast fix while waiting for season five should look into tickets to London soon because the stage production appears to be canon. In the spring, tickets will go on sale.
