Charles-Haden Savage (Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short), Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez), and Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd) have already set the stage for further shenanigans in the third season of the acclaimed television series Only Murders in the Building. For Season 3, Meryl Streep joins Only Murders in the Building as a new cast member, boosting the show’s star power.
While the stars are enjoying a break from filming on site, Gomez revealed the shocking news on Instagram, only to reveal that Streep is present and amicably looking after the other actors.
Meryl Streep’s involvement in Season 3 will only increase the excitement among Only Murders in the Building viewers, regardless of whether she will play a guest, recurring, or series regular role.
Three Emmy, three Oscars, three Golden Globes, and three Emmy Award-winning actresses Meryl Streep is most known for her roles in the movies Sophie’s Choice, Out of Africa, Julie & Julia, The Devil Wears Prada, Mamma Mia!, and others. Her notable television roles include Season 2 of HBO’s Big Little Lies, the 1978 miniseries Holocaust, and Angels in America.
Only Murders in the Building’s third season will begin as Charles, Oliver, and Mabel continue their investigation into Ben Glenroy’s murder. Glenroy passed away onstage in the Season 2 finale while costarring with Charles and Oliver in a Broadway production. This comes after two seasons of investigating the killings of Bunny Folger, the building’s board president, and resident Tim Kono.
