Jerry Bruckheimer Has Confirmed that Margot Robbie’s ‘Pirates Film Is Still in The Process!
Margot Robbie’s female-led Pirates of the Caribbean movie was canceled, which saddened fans of the actress (The Suicide Squad, The Wolf of Wall Street). The birds of Prey star had stated that Disney had decided not to proceed with the picture even though they had been working on it for a while.
The film’s producer, Jerry Bruckheimer (Black Hawk Down, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest), has relaunched the ship by revealing that all may not be lost for the picture and that there are really two scripts in development to continue the successful franchise.

Since Johnny Depp’s departure from the role of Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Black Pearl, the Pirates franchise has been in a perilous position, but Disney has no intentions to end it permanently.

I think we’re coming really close on that one, too, the producer said in an interview with Hollywood Reporter. We have an excellent script. There are two that we created. both the Margot Robbie film and the younger cast movie. More improvement is required for the Margot Robbie one. One from the younger cast is close. We’re hoping to obtain both of them.
Bruckheimer recognizes Robbie’s disappointment that her Pirates of the Caribbean movie did not start first, but he remains optimistic that things will move along once the Barbie star has a less hectic schedule.
