Adam Warlock in “Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3” Is Not a Good Guy at First Glance!
Since Thor: The Dark World, Marvel fans have been anticipating Adam Warlock’s MCU debut. On May 5, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will bring the comic book character to life.
However, a first look at the character has already been made public.
Will Poulter, dressed as Adam Warlock, is seen in the exclusive shot scowling as he approaches someone or something. He exudes a frightening atmosphere, especially considering how tight his hands are.
Director James Gunn said that Warlock in the forthcoming film isn’t a decent man in an interview with Empire, calling him a baby.
He is obviously not a good guy. What we are witnessing is the infant Warlock, who has just emerged from the cocoon and is still learning how to navigate the world. He’s essentially a baby, Gunn remarked.
However, Warlock isn’t altogether horrible either. The filmmaker is confident that actor Poulter is the ideal choice to lend youthfulness to the character while striking a balance between drama and humor because Gunn’s Warlock is more complicated than what the comics led on.

Gunn claimed that on the internet, people were saying, “Oh, Tom Cruise should be Adam Warlock.” Not only for this film but also for future projects that Marvel may employ Adam Warlock for, I wanted someone who was young and who had dramatic and comedy abilities.

Additionally, he hinted that Warlock might play a significant role in the future Multiverse Saga.
Gunn joked that he might end up being this extremely significant character. It appears that the time spent nurturing him in that cocoon was worthwhile.
The release date for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is May 5, 2023.
