Subscribers to Netflix are irrationally excited once more. This time, it was a television series that was canceled after only one season. These disgruntled viewers have now banded together to create a petition in an effort to salvage the Netflix series.
The popular television show Lockwood & Co. is based on the Jonathan Stroud book series. Additionally, the Save Lockwood & Coal petition on Change.org has received over 8,000 signatures as of the time of writing, as you can see below. It’s a significant amount that will probably just increase.
Sadly, as reported by Variety, it appears that the show’s viewing figures fell short of the requirement for approval of a second season. The cancellation is the result. By this point, Netflix has undoubtedly canceled a number of fan favorites, and it’s obvious that this has offended many of its subscribers.
Netflix users made the following remarks on the petition, indicating as much:
I’ve never seen a better TV adaptation than this one. I’m crushed. I’ll never be able to forgive Netflix for this terrible choice.
Just a fantastic show. possess everything. Conjuring, Ghostbusters, the Goonies, and Harry Potter all in one show. This is incorrect.
I adore this program. Anyone may watch the program, and it has a great plot. I honestly don’t get why Netflix didn’t automatically renew it when it was number one for a time. Time to alter their perceptions! Return our show to us!

The cancellation undoubtedly comes as a surprise. No matter how many people watched it, the series received many excellent reviews. However, it appears that many of these streaming services are becoming increasingly choosy with the content they offer in the modern era of streaming. However, since subscribers are the ones who pay for it, it only makes sense for them to have a vote on what is renewed and what is not.
