Of course, they also point out that the announcement will undoubtedly still delight supporters. Also noteworthy is the fact that this is only the first installment in a trilogy; possibly Blair will play a bigger part in the next two.
Here’s What a Blumhouse Spokeswoman Had to Say:
They said Linda Blair advised on the upcoming Exorcist movie without mentioning whether or not Blair really makes an appearance. In any event, it would be a fantastic opportunity to see her return alongside Ellen Burstyn. The movie was directed by David Gordon Green, who also wrote the screenplay with Peter Sattler. Green, Danny McBride, and Scott Teems were the authors of the narrative. With Blumhouse, Jason Blum produces the movie. Through Morgan Creek, David Robinson, and James Robinson produce. Green, McBride, and Couper Samuelson are attached as executive producers.
