The ‘Cliffhanger’ Reboot Will Feature the Return of Sylvester Stallone!
Many people view the 1993 movie Cliffhanger as a paradigmatic instance of Sylvester Stallone sacrificing his career. He will now take the lead in a brand-new remake of the cherished action thriller.
According to Deadline, Mark Bianculli wrote the screenplay, while Ric Roman Waugh will serve as the film’s director. Additionally, they state that Balboa Productions, Rocket Science, and Neal H. Moritz’s Original Film label will collaborate on the film.
Currently, Sylvester Stallone is the only actor working on the Cliffhanger revival. Although auditions are currently being held for other roles. It has been revealed that Stallone will play Ranger Gabriel Gabe Walker once more in the film. However, it is unknown what the movie’s other plot specifics are.
The Following Remark Was Made by The Director Ric Roman Waugh:
Cliffhanger was undoubtedly one of my favorite spectacles growing up and watching the major action movies of the 1980s and 1990s, as well as working on several of them myself. It is a dream come true, he said, to be in charge of the next chapter while conquering the Italian Alps with Sylvester Stallone. Taking this property to new heights will be a huge task and a blast, a duty I don’t take lightly.

Moritz Continued:
I’ll never forget the exhilaration I got from watching Cliffhanger with Sylvester Stallone. Working with him and Ric Waugh to continue the tale of Gabe Walker and make it accessible to a new generation of moviegoers around the globe excites me tremendously.
After so many years, it will be interesting to see Sylvester Stallone rewatch this movie. Particularly after having him return for series like the Rocky and Rambo movies. Keep checking for more information as it becomes available about the Cliffhanger revival. If casting is already in progress, it shouldn’t be too long until we hear more.
