Fans were previously blown away by the official teaser for Barbie. Now, however, the official trailer forBarbiehas have been released and now we know even more about the film s plot!
It looks like Margot Robbie s Barbie and Ryan Gosling s Ken come from a world called Barbieland. As such, everyone there goes by the names Barbie and Ken, and Robbie s character has had enough. She travels into the modern world and thus the film s plot begins.

Though the first teaser certainly drove fans wild, this newly-released trailer shares even more about the film s plot and self-aware sense of humor. Fans have responded quite positively and it certainly looks like it’ll be a fantastic journey worth seeing in theaters. Especially after so much of the film was being kept secret during production. Luckily we only have a few more months before it hits theaters.
Barbiewas directed by Greta Gerwig, who also co-wrote the film s script with her partner Noah Baumbach. Margot Robbie will also produce the film via LuckyChap along with Tom Ackerley. Mattel s Robbie Brenner and David Heyman for Heyday Films will also produce. LuckyChap s Josey McNamara and Mattel s Ynon Kreiz are attached to the project as executive producers.
In addition to Margot Robbieas the titular Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken, the film s ensemble cast also includes the exciting additions Kate McKinnon, Alexandra Shipp, America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Hari Nef, and Will Ferrell.

Fans of the toy or not, as the trailer jests will be able to see Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling in Barbie on the big screen on July 21, 2023.
