So I asked my attorney to get a legal notification sent to Netflix asking them to take the episode down. Holding media corporations responsible for the content they publish is crucial, and I’m hoping @NetflixIndia will take this issue seriously.
Of course, The Big Bang Theory has received criticism for its unorthodox sense of humor before. Yet, it will be interesting to observe if this legal notification has any effect at all. Since Netflix hasn’t yet replied to the notice, it’s unclear whether they’ll take any action. Keep checking for new information as it becomes available.
