Is There a Scene After the Credits In ‘Evil Dead Rise’?
Here is the latest entry in the Evil Dead film series. Fans are undoubtedly interested in learning what the series’ future holds. Consequently, whether Evil Dead Rise has a post-credits scene is a question.
There was a brief post-credits scene in the 2013 movie. Bruce Campbell, who plays Ash Williams in the franchise, makes a brief appearance in the teaser and says, “Groovy,” turning to the camera. Fans most likely anticipated a similar scene for Evil Dead Rise because it was a famous moment.
Bruce Campbell does make a brief appearance elsewhere in the movie, but it isn’t a post-credits sequence like in the 2013 picture. Evil Dead Rise, on the other hand, adopts a bit more conventional strategy. However, there is one addition that deserves attention.
Evil Dead Rise wraps up with an explanation for the opening of the movie, which was actually a flash forward. The opening end credits utilize images from the film’s original interpretation of the Book of the Dead. A typical end credits crawl then starts and lasts for several minutes. There isn’t an additional scene at the end, but there is a minor distinction that undoubtedly made some fans grin.
After the closing credits, there is silence followed by a fly buzzing. This alludes to a scene in which Ellie has a fly crawling on her eye. Flies are present throughout the entire franchise, of course. Particularly in Ash vs. Evil Dead when Kelly’s mother attempts to appear alive and during Evil Dead 2. It’s interesting that Ellie experiences it although she seems to be dead.
Similarly to this, the buzzing noise could be read as a sign that the Evil Dead franchise is still very much alive. There is no doubt that this new release will give the brand fresh life. Therefore, even if Evil Dead Rise doesn’t have a typical post-credits scene, there is still a tease for fans.
