Disney Plus Will No Longer Carry Horrific Shows!
A popular horror series on Disney Plus’ streaming service has reportedly been withdrawn. Just two years after it was first published on their platform, the series will be taken off for Halloween 2021.
Eight episodes of the show were based on R.L. Stine’s writings. The series, called Just Beyond, was somewhat reminiscent of the well-known Goosebumps anthology series that so many children grew up with. Sadly, it was never given a second season. The Disney Plus horror series will no longer be available, as reported by THR.
They discussed the following:
Disney is following Warner Bros. Discovery and removing under-performing titles from its streaming services in a bid to write off nearly $2 billion from its bottom line. In total, more than 30 shows will be dropped off the platforms starting the following week as part of this first round of cuts. As of May 26, the titles will no longer exist.
Of course, it’s possible that Just Beyond will live somewhere else. It s been reported that Disney could license some of their titles to other streaming services. As a result, Just Beyond might one day be streamable on another platform. Otherwise, given that there s no physical release, it will simply be lost to time.

Seth Grahame-Smith served as the show’s writer and showrunner, and R.L. Stine served as co-executive producer. Marc Webb also helmed two of the anthology series’ episodes. With so many great names attached, including cast members like Mckenna Grace and Lexi Underwood, it d certainly be a shame to have this series removed forever. The series was based on a number of graphic novels from Boom! Studios which were penned by Stine.
