Bruce Campbell Tells an Audience Member to “Get the F*ck Out” During a “Evil Dead Rising” Screening!
During the first showing of Evil Dead Rising, SXSW attendees were given a real treat. However, one heckler was able to ruin the occasion, which was attended by several actors and crew members from popular movie franchises. When Bruce Campbell came among them, he used the occasion to expel the Evil Dead Riseheckler from the structure.
Only Bruce Campbell could pull off such a show. The king himself ordering the rude visitor to go made the crowd happy right away. You can watch the full confrontation because it was also captured on camera and posted to social media.
As the description for the Evil Dead Riseheckler video jokingly points out:
At the premiere of Evil Dead Rising, someone was possessed.

Moreover, producer Rob Tapert asks this hilariously sincere question before Bruce Campbell responds:
It eludes me. He waited right up until the end of the credits!
Fans expected the heckler to respond, but he didn’t, leading many to believe he was too drunk. Although it was sad that he chose to act that way during a screening of Evil Dead Rising with the cast and crew, Bruce Campbell and the other actors seem to have handled the situation nicely. Hopefully, the supportive comments from the other audience members and admirers online have made up for the heckler’s behavior. At the very least, it serves as another illustration of why Bruce Campbell is as legendary in real life as he is in movies.
Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell, and Robert Tapert served as the film’s producers, and Lee Cronin served as its director.
Alyssa Sutherland, Lily Sullivan, Gabrielle Echols, Morgan Davies, Mia Challis, and Nell Fisher are among the cast members of the movie.
Currently, fans can anticipate that Evil Dead Rise will be released only in theaters on April 21, 2023. Keep checking ScreenGeek for any new information as it becomes available.
