Pat Sajak, the host of Wheel of Fortune, recently stunned viewers when he bizarrely decided to assault a competitor on the show. Among other things, the contestant, Fred, is a known professional wrestler. Because he is paid so little, Sajak generally wrestles for fun, but he also appears to have brought some of that fun to the show.
As you can see in the video below after Fred won a number of puzzles, the 76-year-old veteran host of the program assaulted him. It was revealed that Fred could have received $75,800 for his participation in the program. In response, Sajak made the aforementioned tackle, which he describes as a body slam, even though it ultimately comes across as somewhat clumsy.
Pat Sajak made jokes about tackling Fred first. He posed the following question to the other candidates on the show:
Do You Want Me to Bodyslam Him for You Just Because He’s a Professional Wrestler?
When the scene comes to a close, Sajak makes an attempt to choke Fred.

Viewers were taken aback by the action, and several of them posted questions on social media about what they had just seen. After all, veteran presenter Pat Sajak seldom, if ever, made a move like that on a contestant. Of course, everything is a learning experience, and for Fred, who was able to walk away with more than $75,000, it was undoubtedly worthwhile.
