Ant-Man 3: Avoid a Ban Marvel Reportedly Deleted Any Gay References!
More reports have surfaced as a result of Marvel’s decision to dismiss Victoria Alonso from her job at Marvel Studios. It appears that Disney ordered the removal of LGBT material from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in an effort to prevent the movie from being outlawed in Kuwait.
Alonso’s lawyer, Patty Glaser, initially made a hint about the news, as reported by THR. She asserted that Victoria Alonso was killed by Disney because she had criticized them and refused to do anything she thought was wrong.
According to numerous sources at Disney, who are still quoted by the publication, the reprehensible actually involves eliminating gay material from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Particularly some of the references to gay Pride that is included in the movie. This would prevent the Kuwaiti market from outlawing the movie, according to insiders.
As described:
A storefront window with rainbow decorations and the word Pride was blurred for the version of the movie to be distributed in Kuwait, which has stringent anti-LGBTQ laws, according to Marvel executives, who requested this in January when Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniawas being prepared for release. Two quick moments in which Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) went down a San Francisco street included the business.
They go on to say that Alonso, who is gay, was a vocal supporter of inclusiveness when working for Marvel. As a result, insiders claim that as part of her job managing visual effects and postproduction at Marvel, she refused to allow her team to make the edit. Marvel, however, sought the assistance of an outside vendor to complete the modification.

Representatives for Disney and Alonso, though, have thus far refrained from commenting. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and watch how things develop. There is probably a lot more to it than what these accounts indicate. particularly after Alonso had spent so much time working for the organization. Keep checking for any new information as it becomes available.
