Following the success of “Marriage Story,” Noah Baumbach reunites with Netflix and Adam Driver for the writing and directing of “White Noise.” The same-titled 1985 satire novel by Don DeLillo served as the basis for the movie.
The film dramatizes a modern American family’s attempts to deal with the mundane conflicts of everyday life while grappling with the universal mysteries of love, death, and the possibility of happiness in an uncertain world, according to the logline. The film is at once hilarious and horrifying, lyrical and absurd, ordinary and apocalyptic.
Adam Driver, Greta Gerwig, Don Cheadle, Raffey Cassidy, Sam and May Nivola, Lars Eidinger, Andre Benjamin, and Jodie Turner-Smith are some of the actors who appear in the movie.
David Heyman, Uri Singer, and Baumbach are responsible for producing White Noise. At the 2022 Venice International Film Festival, it had its international premiere in August of last year.
