The National Football League (NFL) made the announcement on Sunday that Rihanna would sing at the halftime show of the 2023 Super Bowl. Rihanna also made a statement, sharing on her Instagram account a picture of herself clutching a football with no accompanying comment.

The LVIIth Super Bowl is planned to take place in Glendale, Arizona on February 12th, 2023. It is currently unknown whether or not Rihanna will be joined on stage by anyone else during her performance. In the past, a variety of performers have welcomed notable guests onstage with them.
As well as being Rihanna’s management business, Roc Nation is also contributing to the organisation of the halftime show.

Oliver Schuster, Apple’s vice president of Apple Music and Beats, was recently quoted as saying, “Rihanna is an amazing recording artist who is a favorite for many millions of Apple Music consumers across the world.” [Citation needed] “We’re pleased to join with Rihanna, Roc Nation, and the NFL to provide music and sports fans a monumental concert – what a great artist for the debut Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show,” said the company.
Pepsi, the longstanding sponsor of the halftime performance, has been replaced by Apple as the sponsor of the halftime show.
Since her discovery, Rihanna has become a multi-platinum recording artist, won nine Grammy Awards, and launched her own beauty and clothing lines.
