When Does Smile Come Out? Smile Is Set to Release Date on 30 September 2022
This weekend’s release of Smile, a new horror film, capitalizes on a premise that everyone who participated in a senior year picture shoot is all too familiar with: forced grins are horrifyingly unsettling.
Based on his 2020 short film Laura Hasn’t Slept, first-time feature filmmaker Parker Finn’s supernatural thriller follows a doctor (Sosie Bacon) who sees a patient commit suicide. After that horrifying event, she is plagued by the horrible vision that everyone in her life has begun to smile. But it’s not just a pleasant smile. The most unsettling smile ever.
In essence, after seeing this movie, you won’t ever want to smile for a picture again. What you need to know about Smile’s release date and streaming availability is provided here.

Where to Watch the Smile Movie:
The only way to view Smile right now is in a theatre. The American premiere of Smile is scheduled for this Friday, September 30. Through Fandango, you can find tickets for a nearby theatre.
You may watch Smile on the Paramount streaming service, Paramount+ after it has finished its theatrical run. A premium subscription from Paramount+ costs $9.99 per month, while an ad-supported plan costs $5.99.
Is Smile 2022 Streaming On HBO Max?
No. Since Smile is a Paramount film and not a Warner Bros. one, it won’t be available to stream on HBO Max when it debuts in theatres. Additionally, HBO Max will stop streaming theatrical films in 2022. Warner Media decided to concurrently put its theatrical slate on streaming last year, making movies like Matrix Resurrections available to HBO Max customers at home. But this year, Warner Bros. theatrical films will only screen in cinemas for 45 days before migrating to HBO Max. HBO Max might air the film in the future, but not anytime soon.
