When Does Enola Holmes 2 Come Out? Is Enola Holmes 2 Coming to Netflix in November 2022?
We now know when to expect Enola Holmes 2 on Netflix later this year.
On August 18th, Netflix announced that the sequel would be available on the site on November 4th, so mark your calendars. The first trailer is still missing in action, but at least we have some stills from the film to look at in the meanwhile.
With the confirmation of Enola Holmes 2 in May of 2021, we know that not only will Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill reprise their roles as Enola and Sherlock Holmes, but that writer Jack Thorne and director Harry Bradbeer will also be back for the sequel.
We’ll do some investigating and fill you in on all the details of Enola Holmes 2 as we wait for the trailer.
Enola Holmes 2 Release Date: When Can We Expect Enola Holmes 2?
As previously stated, Enola Holmes 2 will premiere on Netflix throughout the world at 12 am PT, 3 am ET, and 8 am UK time on Friday, November 4.
That’s a little later than the first film’s September debut, but at least we can start counting down the days now.
Filming on the sequel began in October 2021, and by the end of November, Cavill announced that he had wrapped. Netflix announced in January 2022 that production on Enola Holmes 2 has wrapped.

Enola Holmes 2 cast: Who’s coming back for Enola Holmes 2?
Of course, Millie Bobby Brown is returning in the role of Enola Holmes, and she recently told EW that the show represents the “biggest crucial moment in my career thus far” because it is an original creation of hers.
“There was never a time when my age or gender held me back in [this role], therefore I was always taken seriously and given plenty of attention on set. That was a really pleasant setting, “In her defense, she did offer something.
It has been revealed that Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Sherlock Holmes, however, whether or not Sam Claflin will return as Mycroft Holmes remains to be seen. Unless they’re trying to hide anything, it’s hard to believe he’s returning.

Louis Partridge will be back in the role of Tewkesbury, he said during Netflix’s TUDUM event in September 2021. However, he won’t be alone; Helena Bonham Carter, Adeel Akhtar, and Susan Wokoma will all be returning as Eudora Holmes, Lestrade, and Edith, respectively.
A number of newcomers, including Sharon Duncan-Brewster, David Thewlis, Hannah Dodd, Abbie Hern, Gabriel Tierney, and Serrana Su-Ling Bliss, also join the cast in this sequel.
Duncan-character Brewster has a connection to the crime that Enola is looking into, and Thewlis plays a corrupt police officer, according to EW. All we know about the new characters is that.

Enola Holmes 2 Plot: What Is Enola Holmes 2 About?
Netflix also published the official storyline and first pictures for Enola Holmes 2:
According to the plot summary, “now a detective-for-hire like her notorious brother, Enola Holmes takes on her first official case to discover a missing girl as the sparks of a hazardous conspiracy ignite a mystery that requires the cooperation of friends — and Sherlock himself” to solve.
That reminds me of the setup of the second book in the Enola Holmes Mysteries series, on which the movies are based. Enola tried to find Lady Cecily Alistair, who had gone missing while avoiding her brother Sherlock in The Case of the Left-Handed Lady.
The sequel is not likely to be a direct translation, although it does appear to have been influenced by the book.

After rescuing the lord, Enola resumed her quest for her mother and eventually received a coded message in the newspaper from her purported mother, instructing Enola to meet her at the Royal Academy that evening.
To prove her suspicions that it is all an elaborate ruse on the part of Sherlock and Mycroft, Enola pretends to be a newspaper vendor. They leave in dismay, but not before Sherlock notices Enola’s childhood toy, a pine cone she named Dash.
Enola’s mother, Eudora, unexpectedly returns to her room and apologizes for abandoning her; she is active in the Suffragist movement, and she didn’t think it was “safe” to inform Enola where she was going.
She assures Enola that she would be there for her whenever she may need her and that Enola needs just to send her a message in code through the newspaper.
As her final address to the camera, Enola explains that she, like the rest of her family, must choose her “own way.” “Being alone doesn’t have to mean feeling lonely, as I’ve learned. The mother would have never approved of such. My mother wished for me to discover my independence, my potential, and my destiny.
“I solve mysteries, discern meaning, and track down wandering spirits. In a sense, I get to decide how I spend my time. The future is in our hands.”
