Studio Pierrot’s Bleach, which made its television debut on October 5, 2004, produced 16 seasons of the shonen show with a total of 366 episodes. Since the final episode aired on March 27, 2012, fans have been requesting additional episodes to adapt the remaining manga series by Tite Kubo.

Release Date for Bleach’s “Thousand Year Blood War”
In light of the official trailer’s confirmation that Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will be animated, it is anticipated that fans from around the world will be able to view new episodes beginning in October 2022. The first episode of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will debut at the convention on October 8, according to New York Comic Con.

The Thousand Year Blood War Plot in Bleach
As was already mentioned, the last arc of the Bleach manga series will be adapted for the upcoming season of the anime series. Bleach Season 17 is anticipated to cover 218 chapters of the Thousand-Year Blood War Arc, which spans more than 200 chapters and starts at Chapter 480, and lasts until the end of the manga series, which has a total of 698 chapters.
Where Season 16 of Bleach left off, Season 17 is likely to do the same: The Wandenreich, which means “Invisible Empire,” is a secretive Quincy organization. The Quincy lost a battle with the Shinigami a thousand years ago. As a result, they managed to flee and remain hidden for years, but they have been accumulating strength.

Tite Kubo, the author of Bleach, conducted a Q&A session with members of his fan club in February 2022, during which the mangaka revealed two significant updates on the revival of the anime.
The anime adaptation of the Thousand-Year Blood War storyline will take time to address issues that the original source was unable to address, the manga artist explained.
