The Robert Downey, Sr. Biopic Has a Trailer that Looks at His Life and Career!
Netflix has released the official Sr. trailer for its upcoming documentary film that offers an intimate portrait of Robert Downey Sr. s life and career as a filmmaker and a father. It features Avengers: Endgame star Robert Downey Jr. as he explores his relationship with his father. It will be available for streaming on December 2.
According to the synopsis, Sr.is an irreverent depiction of maverick director Robert Downey Slife. ‘s career, and final days. His defiant spirit inspired decades of counterculture filmmaking. The movie shifts its focus from Downey’s art to the life that it was intricately entwined with, including a close analysis of his bond with his son Robert Downey, Jr.
The three-year production process really embraces Senior’s nonlinear, outlaw-life style, as well as his choice to start his own parallel and last film project. A celebration of creating art with no restrictions that throw out its own rulebook along the way, Smith’s picture of a family and an artist is a reflection of life that is both strange and poignant.
