The Nun 2: Start of Filming Heralded by New Line Cinema’s Picture Release
The Nun 2 is an upcoming horror sequel, and according to New Line Cinema, production has begun in France. The long-in-the-making following chapter will again take place in Europe, just like the 2018 movie. The movie will currently be released on September 8, 2023.

Patrick Wilson’s horror sequel Insidious 5 has completed production.
Michael Chaves (The Curse of La Llorona, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It) is helming The Nun 2 from a script by Richard Naing and Ian Goldberg based on the most recent draught by Akela Cooper.
Taissa Farmiga will reprise her role as Sister Irene in the planned sequel, and Bonnie Aarons will play the titular demon/Valak. Storm Reid, an actress from the television series Euphoria, will join the cast.

James Wan and Peter Safran are in charge of producing the movie, and Gary Dauberman and Michael Clear are the executive producers.
Demian Bichir, Taissa Farmiga, Jonas Bloquet, and Bonnie Aarons all acted in the movie The Nun. With worldwide revenue of almost $360 million, the movie was a box-office success and the highest-grossing entry in the franchise.
