The Black Adam Clip Shows the Anti-Hero’s Power and Brutality
Dwayne Johnson used Twitter to share brand-new, exclusive footage from Warner Bros. Pictures’ eagerly anticipated DC movie in advance of Black Adam’s theatrical release the following week. We get a detailed look at the anti-origin hero’s story and fighting style in TheBlack Adamclip.
Ticket to Paradise, an all-star romantic comedy, as well as a number of independent films, including The Banshees of Inisherinand Aftersun, will compete with the movie when it opens on October 21.

Dwayne Johnson makes his screen debut in Black Adam as Teth-Adam, the titular anti-hero, whose backstory was originally hinted at in 2019’s Shazam!
Prior to this, the character had only made appearances in animated movies and television shows like Young Justice.

Pierce Brosnan plays Doctor Fate, Noah Centineo plays Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell plays Cyclone, and Aldis Hodge plays Hawkman. They all appear alongside Johnson. Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, James Cusati-Moyer, Bodhi Sabongui, Mo Amer, and Uli Latukefu are other cast members who have unspecified roles.
The movie, which is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (The Shallows, Jungle Cruise) from a screenplay by Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshiryani, is based on the DC Comics character created by Otto Binder and C.C. Beck. Beau Flynn of FlynnPicturesCo and Johnson, Dany, and Hiram Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions are the producers; Scott Sheldon is in charge of the project for FlynnPictureCo.
