The first teaser for Spirited, a forthcoming musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’s classic tale A Christmas Carol that stars Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell, has been released by Apple TV+. On November 11, the movie is anticipated to hit theatres. On November 18, it will launch on streaming services.

The TheSpiritedmovie, a retelling of the Charles Dickens classic, will star Ryan Reynolds as the Ghost of Christmas Present and Will Ferrell as the supporting character. They are joined by Patrick Page, Aimee Carrero, Joe Tippett, Marlow Barkley, and Jen Tullock, who plays Past.

There have been numerous feature-length versions of the tale, including the 1984 film starring Oscar winner George C. Scott, Bill Murray’s Scrooged, The Muppet Christmas Carol, Jim Carrey’s 2009 animated production from Robert Zemeckis, and The Muppet Christmas Carol.

Sean Anders and John Morris, who previously collaborated on Daddy’s Home with Will Ferrell, wrote and directed Spirited. It is produced by Gloria Sanchez Productions, Maximum Effort, and Two Grown Men, with Anders, Morris, Ferrell, Reynolds, Jessica Elbaum, and George Dewey serving as executive producers.

Reynolds and Ferrell both had prior roles in the Richard Nixon/White House comedy Dickin 1999, although they did not appear together in any scenes. The two hadn’t fully worked together before till now.
