Prime Video and Stampede Ventures have unveiled the first-look photo for their upcoming Amazon original movie titled Space Cadet, with Emma Roberts expected to lead the project. The photo offers us our first preview of Roberts’s character Rex, a party girl who suddenly finds herself participating in a NASA space program.
Liz W. Garcia wrote and directed the movie Space Cadets (The Lifeguard). Along with Roberts, the cast also includes Desi Lydic (The Kids in the Hall), Sebasti n Yatra (a Colombian pop sensation), Gabrielle Union (Bad Boys II), Tom Hopper (The Umbrella Academy), and Poppy Liu (Hacks) (Awkward).
The movie centers on Florida party girl Rex (Emma Roberts), who accidentally trains with other candidates who might have better resumes but lack her intelligence, heart, and nerve, and who ends up being the sole chance for the NASA space program. reads the plot summary.

Greg Silverman, Jon Berg, and Stampede Pictures produced Space Cadet. Gideon Yu, Chris Bosco, Emma Roberts, Liz W. Garcia, and Michael Tadross are the executive producers. Outside of the United States and Japan, it will debut exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 nations and territories.
