David Leitch will helm Red Shirt, with inspiration from Simon Kinberg’s initial pitch for the X-Men series. Although further information about the project’s characters and the plot is still being withheld, it is being referred to as a fresh take on James Bond and has the potential to start a franchise.

Leitch and Kelly McCormick for 87 North, Tatum for Free Association, and Kinberg for Genre Films will all work together to create the movie. Through Free Association, Peter Kiernan and Reid Carolin are also producing.
Step Up, Magic Mike, 21 Jump Street, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, and more well-known films are among Tatum’s filmography. The next movies he’ll appear in include Pussy Island, Greg Berlanti’s Project Artemis, which stars Scarlett Johansson, Magic Mike’s Last Dance, and Greg Berlanti’s Project Artemis.
