This week, a fascinating fantasy film will be available on Netflix.
The School for Good and Evil will join the streaming service’s library of programming on Wednesday, October 19. The movie’s screenplay was adapted by David Magee (Life of Pi, Mary Poppins Returns), Laura Solon, and Paul Feig (Bridesmaids) (Office Christmas Party, Let It, Snow). Producers are Joe Roth, Jeffrey Kirschenbaum, Jane Startz, Feigco’s Feig, and Laura Fischer; executive producers are Zack Roth, Patricia Riggen, and Chainani.
Sophia Anne Caruso, Sofia Wylie, Charlize Theron as Lady Lesso, Kerry Washington as Professor Dovey, Laurence Fishburne as The School Master/Rafal Mistral, and Michelle Yeoh as Professor Anemone are the stars of The School for Good and Evil.
Ben Kingsley, Rachel Bloom, Pattie LuPone, Rob Delaney, Mark Heap, Peter Serafinowicz, Jamie Flatters, Earl Cave, Emma Lau, Kit Young, and Briony Scarlett are among the additional cast members.
According to the narrative, Sophie and Agatha, two best friends, are going to find out that fairytale characters attend The School for Good and Evil.
Agatha is confident she belongs in the Evil School, while Sophie is confident she will be accepted into the School of Good and join former students Cinderella and Snow White. But as their luck turns around, the girls’ friendship is pushed to the test, and they come to terms with who they truly are.
