New Super Mario Bros. Movie Trailer Features Go-Karts and Donkey Kong!
Nintendo has dropped the second trailer for The Super Mario Bros. Movie in a short Nintendo Direct. This new footage shows much more of the film, which is still slated for April 2023.
The Tanooki Suit, Fire Flowers, karts, and other well-known platforming hazards are among the many recognizable characters, settings, and elements from the series that are flashed through in the teaser. Additionally, Mario, Toad, Bowser, Peach, and Luigi get extra time to speak. Despite the fact that Donkey Kong is speechless, Shigeru Miyamoto remarked that the character was somewhat changed to have a more comedic appearance similar to the original.

Mario, Anya Taylor-Princess Joy’s Peach, Charlie Day’s Luigi, Jack Black’s Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key’s Toad, Seth Rogen’s Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen’s Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson’s Kamek, and Sebastian Maniscalco’s Spike all make appearances in the movie.
