Anthony Ramos (Hamilton, In the Heights) and Dominique Fishback will serve as the movie’s directors (Judas and the Black Messiah). Bumblebee and Autobot Mirage, who had previously appeared, as well as newly introduced characters Scourge, Arcee, Nightbird, Air-Razor, Rhinox, and Optimus Primal, all join them. Ron Perlman will provide the voice for the latter.

The newest installment, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, will take viewers on a 90s world tour and introduce the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons to the ongoing conflict between the Autobots and Decepticons on Earth.

Steven Caple Jr., who directed Creed II, is directing Transformers: Rise of the Beasts from a screenplay by Joby Harold. Its premise and cast of characters are still a mystery, but it is anticipated that they will continue the narrative threads started in Bumblebee’s “soft relaunch” from last year.

With Transformers director Michael Bay, Tom DeSanto, Don Murphy, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian, and Duncan Henderson serving as producers, Steven Spielberg, Brian Goldner, David Ellison, Dan Goldberg, Don Granger, Brian Oliver, Bradley J. Fischer, and Valerii An serve as executive producers. It is a Skydance Media, eOne, Bay, Di Bonaventura, and New Republic Pictures production.
