Kevin Feige’s Reaction to James Gunn Running DC Universe!

After being appointed as one of the new presidents of the newly redesigned DC Studios, James Gunn is scheduled to leave Marvel Studios, but Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige is eager to see what his colleague does.

In a brief interview with Deadlineduring Wednesday’s presentation of the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Feige was asked about Gunn. He jokingly said that while he still had work to do with Marvel Studios between now and May, he would be lining up to see what Gunn had in store for DC.

Well, he’s well aware that he has a lot of work to do for Marvel between now and May, Feige joked. I will, however, be first in line to see whatever he does after that.

The future Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special will premiere on November 25, 2022, while Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be released on May 5, 2023. Gunn’s next two upcoming projects are both for Marvel Studios, and both of them are set in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise.

Gunn left Marvel Studios after being named co-CEO of the recently established DC Studios with Peter Safran. The Hollywood Reporter claims that Safran, a producer with credits on numerous movies, including previous DC flicks Aquaman and Shazam!, will concentrate on the division’s commercial and production aspects while Gunn will concentrate on the creative side.

Both are still anticipated to continue directing and producing additional movies, according to the report.
