HBO Max Will Premiere “A Christmas Story” Teaser Trailer This Holiday Season

For the anticipated sequel to the 1983 holiday movie, A Christmas Story, HBO Max has debuted the first teaser trailer. The primary actor, Peter Billingsley, who reprises his legendary role as Ralphie, is teased in the trailer as making a comeback. On November 17, it will be possible to stream the movie.

Nick Schenk wrote the screenplay for A Christmas Story, which is directed by Clay Kaytis (The Christmas Chronicles). Returning actors Ian Petrella, Zack Ward, Scott Schwartz, and R.D. Robb will be appearing with Billingsley. New cast members Julie Hagerty, Erinn Hayes, and others will join them.

According to the plot, “The sequel follows an adult Ralphie in the 1970s, who visits the home on Cleveland Street to give his children a memorable Christmas like the one he experienced growing up. Ralphie reconciles the death of his Old Man, reunites with boyhood friends, and plants the seeds for the beginnings of the cherished holiday classic with the same attention to real-life tone as in the previous book.

Through their Wild West Picture Show label, Billingsley and Vince Vaughn will produce The A Christmas Story sequel. Schenk will serve as executive producer, and Cale Boyter and Jay Ashenfelter of Legendary will manage the sequel on behalf of the company.
