Lohan said that she and 2003 movie co-star Jamie Lee Curtis had discussed the possibility of a sequel and that they were both open to the notion of working together once more in her most recent interview with the late-night presenter.

Yes, Lohan admitted, “we did talk about it. I had to remind myself that I was on set filming at the time and that I needed to concentrate because, as Jamie Lee Curtis says in her book, you instantly become aroused and distracted. When she added “Freaky Friday 2,” I became even more enthused.

These statements echo Curtis’ previous statements, who appeared on The View last month and acknowledged that she had written to Disney about the potential for a sequel with the concept that she would play an elderly grandmother who switches roles.

Make me the grandmother! Curtis responded, “Let me be the old grandmother who switches places.” Then Lindsay becomes the attractive grandmother, who is still content with Mark Harmon in all the ways you would also be content with him. Simply put, I want Lindsay to play the attractive grandmother and I want to try to cope with the toddlers today. In today’s society, I aspire to be a helicopter parent as an elderly woman.

Since Freaky Friday’s 2003 theatrical debut, it has been over 20 years. In addition to receiving favorable reviews, the movie was a box office hit, earning more than $160 million globally against a rumored $26 million budget.
