New Disney+ Release Date Is Revealed by the Disenchanted Poster.!
The highly anticipated fantasy sequel Disenchanted, which welcomes Amy Adams back, will now be available on Disney+ at a new date. The streamer has also released a brand-new poster, giving us a fresh glimpse at Giselle as played by Adams.
The movie will now premiere a week early on Friday, November 18, shortly before this year’s Thanksgiving, as opposed to its original release date of November 24, 2022.
According to the plot, “Disenchantedfeatures the much-awaited return of Giselle, the princess from the fairy tale kingdom of Andalasia banished to Manhattan who finds her real Princess Charming in divorce lawyer Robert Philip.
” 15 years later, Giselle and Robert relocate to the Monroeville suburb with their teenage daughter Morgan, where she must balance the difficulties of a new home and figure out what happily ever after really means to her and her new family.
Adam Shankman is in charge of directing the follow-up, which is based on Bill Kelly’s original characters from Enchanted. The original cast is back, including Amy Adams, who has been nominated for six Academy Awards, as the perpetually optimistic and hopelessly romantic Giselle, who is now married and residing in Monroeville; Patrick Dempsey, from Grey’s Anatomy; James Marsden, from X-Men; and Idina Menzel, from Frozen, as Giselle’s husband, Robert Philip, a cynical realist; Giselle’s from Andalasia
New cast members Maya Rudolph, Kolton Stewart, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jayma Mays, and Oscar Nunez are added to the group. Gabriella Baldacchino is introduced as Morgan, Robert Philip’s grown daughter.

Since 2010, the movie has been under development, and Anne Fletcher was formerly attached to direct. Kevin Lima was the director of the first movie, which made nearly $340 million worldwide against an alleged $85 million budget. Additionally, it was warmly appreciated by reviewers and viewers, earning the movie two nominations for Golden Globes, including Best Actress for Amy Adams.
