Avatar: Over Three Hours Have Passed in the Running Time of “The Way of Water”

The Hollywood Reporter has announced the exact running length for James Cameron’s long-gestating sequel, Avatar: The Way of Water.

According to reports, the sci-fi fantasy drama has 3 hours and 10-minute running duration, making it one of Cameron’s longest movies to date and falling just short of Titanic’s 3 hours and 14-minute running time.

It is not surprising that Avatar: The Way of Water has a three-hour running length given its epic scope and extensive production.

James Cameron co-wrote and directed the sequel. Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, Stephen Lang, Matt Gerald, and Sigourney Weaver are among the actors who return in it. Along with a number of young actors, the cast also included Kate Winslet, Edie Falco, Michelle Yeoh, Vin Diesel, Jemaine Clement, and Oona Chaplin.
