Haddish‘s comments come less than a week after she and fellow comedian Aries Spiers faced allegations that they forced two young children, ages 7 and 14, to engage in inappropriate and sexually explicit on-camera behavior.
Haddish, now 22 years old, filed the case in late August on behalf of John Doe, now 14 years old, saying that they were pushed to engage in sexually explicit on-camera behavior in paid movies shot in 2013.
The Daily Beast claims that through the comedy circuit, Haddish and the mother of the kids became good friends, allowing Jane to spend time with Haddish while Spears was present to make the recordings.

When Haddish instructed Jane to imitate a group of young women eating sandwiches in a sexually suggestive way from a video, Haddish noted that she had intervened to show her “how to administer fellatio.” For the shot, Jane, who was 14 at the time, received $100.
Another event mentioned in the lawsuit had Haddish asking the mother of the kids to film her then-7-year-old son for a Nickelodeon sizzle reel. Instead, footage of the child was taken for the “Funny or Die!” user-generated section’s “Through a Pedophile’s Eyes” movie.

According to the lawsuit, after seeing the video, the child walked downstairs “red in the face, weeping his eyes out, just bawling out in tears,” which immediately alarmed their mother.
When their mother asked what had happened, she was informed that “I don’t think acting is for him,” among other things. I’m also contemplating… How can you say that he isn’t suited for acting? My son is crying now. What precisely is happening?
For eight causes of action, including deliberate infliction of mental distress, gross negligence, sexual battery, sexual harassment, and sexual abuse of a minor, the civil case asks for general and special damages as well as statutory damages.
