Last year, at the age of 33, McVay led Los Angeles to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2001. He is the youngest head coach in NFL history to do it.
Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that McVay and Khomyn met between 2011 and 2013 when they were both students at George Mason University and he was working for Jay Gruden in Washington.
