Metallica Shows Off Geek Side With “Master of Puppets” and “Stranger Things” Finale Duet
Metallica Is Honouring Once More!
In a recent full-circle TikTok moment, the heavy metal band is virtually euphoric while performing a duet of “Master of Puppets” with Eddie Munson’s breathtaking Stranger Things season four finale sequence. Kirk Hammett, Robert Trujillo, Lars Ulrich, and James Hetfield all sport matching Hellfire Club t-shirts, so they naturally look the part.
The group’s description for their video read, “Eddie, this is for you!” The 1986 hit song is performed with all of his might by Joseph Quinn’s character in the Stranger Things scenario in order to divert a horde of demon bats. His Hawkins allies grab the chance to assault and put an end to Vecna’s terror campaign in the meanwhile.

Quinn discussed the “heartwarming” and “amazing” audience response with ET’s Will Marfuggi in the days following the two-hour season four finale of the Netflix series.
He Stated About the Programme:
, “I think it could be the only world where a scene like that type can occur and it does not feel stupid.” Even though it is blatantly stupid, it seems joyful and earned, and it feels like the ideal climax to this sort of absurd scenario.
Quinn’s own musical background allowed him to play along naturally on-screen even though Metallica Geek bassist Trujillo stated on Instagram that his 17-year-old son Tye contributed the guitar tracks for the show’s rendition.
He told ET, “I was fortunate that I kind of I’ve played the guitar since I was very young so I kind of had the foundations to tackle most of it. Who wouldn’t like to pretend to be a rock star for a day or an evening? It’s a lot of fun, you know.
Their Song in The Popular Series:
Metallica hasn’t held back in gushing over the inclusion of their song in the popular series.
The band said last week that they were “beyond delighted” for “Master of Puppets” to not only be included in the show but to have such a pivotal sequence crafted around it.” “The way The Duffer Brothers have included music into Stranger Things has always been next level,” the group stated on Instagram.
We were all excited to see the finished product, and when we did, we were really blown away. It is so incredibly well done that some people were able to guess the song just by looking at Joseph Quinn’s hands for a brief moment in the trailer! What an amazing fantastic thing!
It’s a tremendous honour to play such a significant role in Eddie’s journey and to once more be in the company of all the other outstanding performers on the show.
